Adamus Resources Ltd. Wins Zone II of the 2026 Inter-Mine First Aid and Safety Competition

Adamus Resources Limited has emerged as the winner of the Zone II edition of the 2026 Inter-Mine First Aid and Safety Competition, following an impressive performance against four other participating mining companies.

The competition brought together teams from Newmont Ahafo North Mine, Zijin Golden Ridge Ltd., Damang Gold Mine and Golden Star Wassa Ltd. to demonstrate their knowledge, preparedness and practical skills in first aid and workplace safety.

Adamus Resources Ltd. distinguished itself throughout the competition, exhibiting strong teamwork, technical competence and a clear understanding of emergency response and safety procedures. The company’s performance earned it the top position in a closely contested event.

The Chamber congratulates the team on this remarkable achievement. The Chamber also commends all participating companies for their dedication, professionalism and continued commitment to promoting a strong health and safety culture within Ghana’s mining industry.

The Inter-Mine First Aid and Safety Competition provides an important platform for mining companies to test their emergency response capabilities, share best practices and reinforce the industry’s commitment to protecting the health and safety of employees and surrounding communities.
